  I've always had an interest in martial arts, through movies and TV shows mainly, but had never pursued classes or tuition. I knew very little about taijiquan other than from popular culture. My friend located the class and asked if I would like to try it with him. At the time I was struggling to commit to regular physical exercise. I'd tried gyms before but always struggled to go regularly. This seemed like a good opportunity for physical exercise with the added bonus of learning self defence.
  
  The people really make the class for me. Friendly and supportive environment.
